亞特蘭蒂斯號穿梭機飛回地球 (Space Shuttle Atlantis Heads Home)

美國亞特蘭蒂斯號穿梭機在執行了一個多星期的改進國際空間站的任務之後，正在返回地球。亞特蘭蒂斯號星期一早晨脫離國際空間站，定於星期三返回地球。亞特蘭蒂斯號和國際空間站的機組人員星期天下午激動地相互告別，然後關閉了對接艙口。

這次道別對宇航員丹尼爾.塔尼來說更加意味深長，他在空間站上留駐了4個月，在此期間，他的90歲的母親死於車禍。亞特蘭蒂斯號上的宇航員在這次飛行任務中完成了3次太空行走。下一次穿梭機飛行定於3月11號起飛。

The space shuttle Atlantis is on its way home after working more than a week to improve the International Space Station. The shuttle undocked from the scientific outpost early Monday morning and is slated to return to Earth Wednesday.The crews of Atlantis and the International Space Station had an emotional farewell Sunday before they closed the hatches.

The goodbyes were especially poignant for astronaut Daniel Tani who had a four-month stay on the station. During that time, his 90-year-old mother died in a car accident. The Atlantis astronauts completed three spacewalks during their mission. The next shuttle flight is scheduled for a March 11th liftoff.

中國公司贏得合同為利比亞修建鐵路 (Chinese Company Wins Bid to Build Libyan Rail Lines)

中國說，一家中國承包商中標，在利比亞鋪設兩條鐵路。官方的新華社星期一說，中國鐵建股份有限公司將修建一條352公里長的沿海鐵路，連接利比亞的東西兩部分，並建設一條800公里長的鐵路，將塞卜哈和米蘇拉塔這兩個城市連接起來。

新華社說，這項承包合同價值大約26億美元。工程計劃4年完工。

Beijing says a Chinese contractor has won a bid to construct two rail lines in Libya.The official Xinhua news agency said Monday that the China Railway Construction Corporation will build a 352-kilometer coastal railway along Libya's east to west Mediterranean coast, and an 800-kilometer line linking the cities of Sebha and Misurata. 

The agency said the contract is worth about two-point-six billion dollars. The work is expected to be completed in four years.
