The U.S. media seized on recent reports that high school girls in a Massachusetts town had made a pact to get pregnant and raise babies together. Officials have rejected reports of a pregnancy pact, but the incident highlights concern among some adolescent health experts that the U.S. teen birth rate is starting to rise again.
