Officials in South Korea say they have discovered two more food items imported from China that are tainted with the industrial chemical melamine.

The Korea Food and Drug Administration said today (Tuesday) the chemical was found in Nabisco Ritz cracker cheese sandwiches and in rice crackers made by Chinese company Danyang Day.

New melamine-tainted products are being found in the region on an almost daily basis.

Hong Kong officials said todaythe company Unilever is recalling brands of Lipton Milk Tea Powder after finding traces of melamine in the product.

On Monday, British candymaker Cadbury announced it was recalling 11 varieties of its Chinese-made products after tests showed traces of the chemical.

Chinese authorities warned earlier this month that tons of melamine-contaminated milk powder were exported to Taiwan.
